  1. Mmk...for ppl that care ab their motor do ur self a favor nd run an air box if ur goin through water or mud. If a k&n gets wet it sucks the oil out of it losing sum of its ability to filter the air. Me nd mine; i like all the protection i can get to ensure the longevity of my motor nd a whole lot less cleaning of carburetors. To.each their own
  2. I have pretty much the same set up. I run half 93 ethanol free nd half 110 nd i live in arkansas. Im prolly pushin a lil more compression than u tho. 174psi...hope it helps. Do a compression test nd go from there...ne thing above 160 psi run at least half nd half...ne thing under id run ethanol free 91 and lucas octane booster
  3. A splash guard or air box is definitely needed! Mine had open k&n when i first got it. One tiny lil splash from a 4 inch mud puddle nd i knew that for a fact. Bought a new OEM airbox nd run with no lid 10x better.

  6. Ive got the 1 pic on here. Im on my celly and tella me all my other.files r too big to upload
  7. Well guys thanks for all the help and suggestions but i have figured it out im pretty sure. Ive nvr worked on the bike myself bc i nvr claimed to be a mechanic and i wanted it done professionally and right. I guess that was entirely too much to ask. The shop i took it to has stripped out the top cap on the left carb and is sucking air and barely even on there. Thats where all my hesitation and un-even burn has to be coming from. I found it today when i went to drain the gas to run race fuel. Thanks a lot mckays cycle shop in russellville arkansas!
  8. It practically was. All the bearings and everything were shot from jus sitting. Hence the rebuild. I want to do the bike justice and have it run as good as.it looks
  9. Yea. Decent size for arkansas. Russellville. Like 35,000 ppl i think
  10. Yea. It was the 1st one evr here where i live nd i remenber seein it as a kid and i wanted it then. Im 25 now and had an opportunity to buy it. Dream come true lol
  11. No porting that i kno of. Its an old bike and i kno it sat on the showroom floor til '06

  13. Ive been trying everyday to get race fuel this week. I live nxt to a drag strip nd they have it. Getn ahold of them during the week is a different story
  14. The more compression u have the higher octane u need to run.
