One thing i gotta do is put in some more tie down points there's only 4 one in each far corner. Should I just add some for rings or few people suggested running E-track. Which seems like a good idea? Also heat i was thinking just a generator and a electric heater or buddy propane heater i know they say their safe for indoor, but something about propane burning inside doesn't seem like to good of an idea. You can't use anything that burns and uses the oxygen from the space your in....unless you want to wake up dead! (NO PROPANE, GAS, LP, WOOD, ETC.) A little electric heater will heat the trailer just fine if your using sleeping bags. That trailer will stay really warm once you get a little heat in it. You could even just get an inverter for your truck and make electric long enough for the heater to warm up the trailer, then shut everything off and go to sleep. Get yourself a real mattress and elevate it off the floor of the trailer. Starwriter Posted March 11, 2013 Report Share Posted March 11, 2013 With E track on the sides, there are E track clips that you can get to slide a 2X4 into, going across the trailer. Then lay plywood on top of the boards and have a raised bed. If you put E track on the sides, it should be secured more securely than just with sheet metal or wood screws. dave5.0 Posted March 11, 2013 Report Share Posted March 11, 2013 I can keep my 24' warm enough with 2 little 750/1500 watt heaters. Shouldn't need much once u insulate it. I just used the styrofoam sheets from lowes to do mine. Then found a buddy that was stripping a camper and picked up the inverter and fuse box out of it. Then slapped ac in the vent hole. And +2 or 3 on the e track. Had that stuff since it was new. I always run the tires on the track then put a d ring in front and back of the tire then run a strap over it. 04zSpittinKlotz Posted March 11, 2013 Report Share Posted March 11, 2013 i would not use the rolls of 3 1/2 in thick insulation unless your walls are 2x4's smashing insulation down to fit in a smaller wall will defeat the purpose of it. take a panel off and see how thick the walls are. i would use the styrofoam.
