WINDYCITYJOHN400 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 I agree....I just couldn't bring myself to say it. LOL OK they can get ONE item right..... But I did take mine to a church and clense it of all the bad voodoo. Quote
hp2000 Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 I like their individual non cross over manifolds also. They make bigger carbs clear the clutch arm lever. That's the only 2 items of theirs I have in my book . Quote
Wildcardracing Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Matton is hard to beat IMO. I stock them for $45 Quote
trickedcarbine Posted January 9, 2013 Report Posted January 9, 2013 Last one I bought was mattoon. But my local fella at chariot was not in stock. The mattoon piece is very nice Quote
FASTOYS Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 These are billet and similar to the Trinity ones but much less $$$ http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=441 A VERY nice and ACCURATE piece ! Quote
dajogejr Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 These are billet and similar to the Trinity ones but much less $$$ http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=441 A VERY nice and ACCURATE piece ! I like the idea of these as well. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a flywheel come loose at the track because of an adjustment made. This solves that... Jeff, do you think you can "modisize" the slots enough to get another 2-3 degrees out of it? Quote
Glenyboy Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 I bought a used trinity one with a stator for just over $50, you just look around to catch a deal Quote
FASTOYS Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 Dave there is actually enough adjustment built in to prolly go 12-13 degrees but they are only marked to 10 degrees.. Quote
ric-ross1 Posted January 11, 2013 Author Report Posted January 11, 2013 Thanks alot guys i went with mattoon the billet one. Quote
trickedcarbine Posted January 11, 2013 Report Posted January 11, 2013 I kinda dig the one Jeff posted but I never got the concept of them till after I bought a full tilt plate. I love the idea of being able to adjust without flywheel removal. Quote
Ricky Stator Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Some of the cast ones are terrible for having the threads pull out of the plate. Considering that you can get a billet one for the same price as a cast one, or just a few dollars more,I would get a billet one even though it is hidden. After all, you get what you pay for, and a few dollars extra now is better than buying the cheapest thing out there and then having to buy another(good one or el cheapo) later because it failed. That being said- STAY AWAY FROM RICKY STATOR GARBAGE! Did you have an issue with one of ours we didnt take care of? Quote
Uf21 Posted February 11, 2013 Report Posted February 11, 2013 Did you have an issue with one of ours we didnt take care of? From what I've read your ones are pretty damn shit. Quote
