Ball bearing vs arm style lockup advantage between

I'm going to try and put my 535 together over winter and I am debating about putting a lockup in as well.

I kinda would like to keep the stock side cover on just cause I like the look.

I'm not one who will be changing the weights / balls out etc with the clutch once I get it to where it works I'm done playing with it!!!

So what are the advantages and disadvantages to both of these?

Thanks

Slingers have their advantages that is for sure and I definitely think that it would be the hot ticket for a guy like you. The extra mass works like added flywheel weight would for the Gncc guys. I love the slingshot, but someone needs to come up with a good quick change cover for drag guys to use them, but they are perfect for the trail guys

Every 2 stroke motor with a clutch should have a bearing there lol

Yes you can paulie and you better have a pancake bearing

Every 2 stroke with a clutch should have that extra bearing. Thanks Justin. I think I'm at the point to where I need a slingshot.

I just didn't want to spend the money if I can't ride the other 99% of the time I'm not racing.
