I have cheetah 421cc cub 34mm carbs v forse reeds..currently have fmf sst's.powerband to much like a on/off switch..really cant make use of all the power without blowing the wheels off .all i really do is trails and hills but i still like to line em up from time to time..like to get some input on what a good choice of pipe would be

i have shearer sb inframes and cpi sb inframes. cpi def had that mid-bottom end power on the cub but the shearers had alot mre topend imo. shearers def were a better overall pipe but if ur lookn 4 the bottom to mid power id say cpi. dnt get it twisted ul still be ripping with the cpi but line up nxt to a cub with a set of shearers on n c wat the outcome is, lol

My cpis on my cub work amazing!! My buddy has a cub as well with shearers!! Over all the cpis are a much broader power over the shearer!! The shearer do rev a bit more up top but... I prefer a wider power curve any day!!

Shearers! I just asked Mat this question the other day and his response to engine size/pipe combo is anything under 535 needs a small bore, anything 535 or bigger needs a big bore.

not always true but to each their own.

I agree with Loco. If you do not like the hard hitting powerband of that setup then none of the pipes you mentioned or any pipe basically will take that away. Might as well stick with fatties or ditch the cub altogether.

No way man this thing is a beast..just these pipes i have are junk with this setup..just want something with a broader powerband so i dont HAVE to stay in it so much to get the power i need...

ya do realize thats how most cubs are right? i geared mine down a bit helped for riding around just a suggestion. before shearers i had t5s and it had a lil more bottom end
