10mm cub motor is melting o rings on the intake side of the domes of both cylinders after a few hours of duning.tried everything in the book and still no luck.anybody ever had this problem???banshee down:( need help

tried every o ring available, why detonating though?octane, compression, squish, jetting, leak down, timing is good and still no luck.would issues with the crank cause this problem????

Sounds like you need to come put it on the dyno and get that detonation dialed out of it.

LOL You already PM ed me remember.

I invited you out to dyno but it was a little bit far.

In the long run it will end up saving you parts, money and frustration. Plus you will make great power when we're done.

LOL.

Trinity FTW!

YEAH when it comes to experience with blown O-rings.....Trinity is #1.

if everything is actually right you shouldnt have a problem. sooo you have a problem.. DONT use just any and every o-ring you can get your hands on. use VITON. jet it so rich and back all your timing out of it and see if that helps. if your squish is around .45 its to tight! run more like .50+ if you want it to live. then next time you have it off check the head AND cylinder for warp. make sure you have good studs on it and your fuel/ oil mix is right...

i agree you shouldnt need a dyno to fix this issue. might see what the motor is capable of timing/ tuning wise that day in those conditions with a dyno..

Im done dealing with trinity!!!! mods are 10mm cub,alcohol,39mm pwk,c.p.i.- b.b.- i.f,new noss head and decked cylinders, billet crank ,v.f.2 reeds,500 ft above sea level,+7 timing etc.

Are you using a trinity head? If so the problem lies in the squish band angle being negative to the piston crown angle. I had to remachine a set of trinity domes for a guy locally. Trinity sucks!!

Talk to your engine builder, head/timing issue/detonation. Does the dyno guy have the gizmo and even if he does can they fix the head if its not timing?
