like said above your going to need to rejet because of the cut head more compression. post your mods and carb and current jets and bhq will help you. post in the jetting forum. also did you do a leakdown test?

comp doesnt really change jetting from my exp the porting will more then anything

 

 

it was done by a very rspected bulder here where i live,,,,,, the only thing he done was cut and port,, it has 270 jets but im not sure where the clip is set on the other. all tubes and hoses are in the corect place,, all i done was went from 40 over to 60

unless your up in the clouds like me thats a small main we need more info elevat/ other mods (pipes, pods ect.)

i bout a toomey t5 kit with all the jetting and air filter,,,,and my elavation in 1,482 feet,,,it is 60 over head been shaved toomey t5's toomey air filter timing set on 4+ carbon reeds and reed spacer 260 jets

and if it was a good builder around ya they should take the time to help ya if it wont start IMO but check for spark and make sure your floats arnt sticking

it will start by the second kick,,but the right side will not hardly run right for along time unless you pump the choke alittle,,and it hesitate when you first hit the throttle

i think i need to get rid of my carb tops and get some new one,, ihate them electronis tops

have you unpluged the tors box next to your coil yet? if ya havnt tried that

 

 

the carbs wires were already cut when i got it,,,but honestly i havent looked at the box and see if it was unpluged or not,,since they already unhooked will diconecting the box help

Pistons in correctly? The windows in the pistons face the intake side. You can see em when you have the reedcage off and turn the motor over. Seen that more than once. It still sounds like you have small jets.
