vito's power pistons

i need to rebuild my banshee, stock 04 with t-6 pipes on it, wonder what you guys think of the power pistons from vitos? thanks

if your bike is stock except for the pipes, the vito's power pistons are a good power increase. you don't want to use them if any portwork is done.

 

I used to run them on my stock port shee, they are great pistons.

 

add a set of boysen 2 stage reeds with them for a little bit more low end throttle resonse.

i ran them. my cylinders were bored by vitos and the piston shattered after about 1 1/2 hours

I ran a couple sets for several years. They were wisecos I think, forged. Never had a problem. Ran em till they wore the cylinders and rattled. Took a few years.

Food for thought... T6s do not respond as well to porting as most other pipes do. I know your cylinders aren't ported, but the power pistons will alter the port timings (a crude way to simulate certain aspects of professional port work).

i have 2 bikes running them they are a nice power upgrade without modding alot been running a year and no problems i think machine work and break in is key here

If you need a rebuild I would just do it right with a port job and wiseco's.

I had no problems with my superstocks. I liked them more then my mx port.
