Trouble shooting

Recommended Posts

Hey guy,

My 2005 banshee does't start anymore!!!! :-(

We cleaned the carb pretty well and buy 2 carb rebuild kit, they guy who installed carb is a mechanic so I'll asume it's installed well.

He tested and gas goes in the carb

I removed a spark plug and check if I have fire, yes I have a spark when kick starting

when I've tried to pull start, it would burn some gas but it's not starting

When I kick start, plug don't seem to get any gas

I did a compression test, 80 and 100 psi

My friend told me that reed valve seemed to be ok..

what do you think, could that low compression be the probleme or should it start anyway?

Oh and no more tors, brain unplug

Try push starting or a shot of starting fluid...

Do NOT use starting fluid. These take mixed gas, starting fluid isn't good lubrication. Pull starting should get it to pop up.
