How much is a 2000 Mint Stock Banshee worth?

My friend has a 2000 blue banshee with about 5 tanks of gas run through it, bone stock and mint condition. It's about a 9.5 out of 10. Never touched. Original owner has 2 keys manual and all paperwork from new. Is it worth $3500 ??? Let me know what you guys think.

Absolutely not. For $3,500 you can buy a nice 4mm Cub or Serval bike.

For 3,500 I would buy a titled frame and build your own.

For $3000 you can buy a Banshee with at least $4000 worth of aftermarket goodies. So, even if a bone stock Banshee is FREE, there's still better deals out there.

Here in Jersey it'll go on craigslist for 4-5k. I can't guarantee it sells but prices here are insane. I see some bikes in the for sale section and I can't believe it.

Yep - Jersey and the NE is nuts. I just bought an 06 for 3k and thought it was a good deal. I need my head examined.

Here is Massachusetts thats a good deal. You dont even see aftermarket cyls on bikes up here. and all decent bikes go for 3700+ i got the one in my sig for 2200.

at the end of the day what makes a good deal really a good deal is as long as the buyer is happy with the price and the product!! who really cares what other think.. me personally would rather buy a MINT stock banshee for 3k vs a beat cub/serval/whatever for 3k.. besides building these bikes are as much fun as riding them!!! aside from the ass load of cash you have to drop!!lol

I would not pay that much for a stock banshee only cause I know I will beat the shit out of it and it wont be mint for long..also I would be tearing it down to modify it anyway so I would buy one that someone has already put the cash into..

 

although if I was the kind of guy that like stuff to look nice and was planning on keeping it fairly stock then yea it is worth the 3k

 

bottom line if you are willing to pay the price it must be a deal to you

Here in Jersey you'll never find a deal like that. People sell " worked banshees" for a 3500. That include a boost bottle, k&n, holeshots, fmf pipes, maybe the tors removed, "jetted carbs". Maybe a few good ones come up but the prices on the stock bikes send the prices of the good bikes through the roof

The east coast is steep on prices. I buy all my bike in AZ. Right now in Phx theres a 4mil for 3500 and u get a running parts bike both with titles. Now thats a smokin deal :headbang:
