jdog
Banshee high rev on one side and not hitting on the other so I took the top end off thinking that the piston maybe have a hole in it but everything looks to be OK so I put it back together and its doing the samething

bikerjon
Start with the easy stuff. Get a fresh set of plugs. Make sure you are getting spark. Make sure you are getting fuel. Check your compression to see if your motor is healthy. Then go from there. Ask more questions as you start your diagnostics but you need to start with the fundamentals. Good luck
Jereme6655
Start with the easier stuff.......leak down test. 2strokes begin to "free rev" when they get unaccounted for air into the motor. If not jetted for the extra air leaking in it will free rev and eventually melt a hole in your pistons....
Larry's Shee
Make your carbs pussy clean. Set float. Leak down test. Fix leak, don't try to jet it away. I bet it would have been easier to search/ask questions then to randomly tear topend apart.

erickson483
The gap between the flywheel pickup and the little black piece that is attached to the stator. If you pull the stator cover it's pretty obvious to see. Just make sure you measure the gap from the piece attached to the outside of the flywheel, otherwise you'll be measuring a real big gap. What should the measurement be from the flywheel and the little black piece
