Phazernut Posted August 7, 2011 Report Posted August 7, 2011 Anyone here using the Clark or IMS large capacity tanks? Most of my riding will be on logging roads and I would like to increase the range of my Banshee. Looking for opinions on the large tanks. Quote
BigRed350x Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 I'd say go for it. The large tanks may look a little weird, but they get the job done. I will say there is more than one way to skin a cat though. Quote
lms1977 Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 I have the ims tank and would never put a stock tank back on. Quote
guns4children Posted August 8, 2011 Report Posted August 8, 2011 i must not be riding hard cause i can go for atleast 3 hours of heavy trail riding and still have gas left to make it camp with nyuks lady friends on the back Quote
uk421Shee Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 I could do with one for my road legal Banshee in the uk fuel usage is a big problem for me!!! You say IMS do one? Quote
camatv Posted August 17, 2011 Report Posted August 17, 2011 i have one of those thats blue! i want to buy the natural one like that.. i think they are OK but the nutbuster gas cap ext is anoying Quote
turbowrenchhead Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 Does anyone run the IMS 4.0 gallon tank. The clarke is way too big for my likes. My buddy put one on his machine and his turning radius was cut in half from it. He found a set of 6" handle bar risers to overcome the larger tank. I just don't like the way it looks. The only other option is to get a six pack rack and haul a gas can around. Quote
ClayAiken Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 A grab bar thatll hold a 2gal can or so is the way to go. Quote
n2otoofast4u Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 94banshee has a nice used one for sale. Quote

turbowrenchhead Posted November 4, 2012 Report Posted November 4, 2012 I contacted one seller that has six pack racks. He didn't have a recommondation for a gas tank that fits nice and snug. You guys have any input on that? Quote
rjdgriff Posted November 5, 2012 Report Posted November 5, 2012 2gallon can works pretty well, it fits good and snug, but I still strap it down to be sure I don't loose it Quote
