06specialedition
Whats up guys, I run a duel pingle valve and wondering what replacement fuel lines you guys recommend? I've replaced them in the past but the problem I'm having is, not very long after I put new lines on they get rock hard and I worry about one breaking or cracking. Are there fuel lines that stay soft and are better quality? Thanks, -Zach

06specialedition
1/4" fuel line from napa. Is there a specific line or brand I need that won't harden?
Hilarious
Is there a specific line or brand I need that won't harden? No. Just the stuff they have in bulk, made by gates. Not fancy looking but lasts a good while.

I just got the kit from motion pro, it seems pretty nice and was easy to work with.
jbooker82
Tygon is the best fuel line you can get. It stays flexalbe and does not deteriorate or discolor.
BigRed350x
Tusk fuel line from RockyMountainATV works good. I've used it on a few different bikes with good results. Doesn't get hard and remains flexible, even with methanol & race gas. - Jared
06specialedition
I ended up getting some 1/4 Tygon line from napa auto parts today. This stuff better be good, it was $10 for 2 feet of line. Thanks for all the info guys
Paulie B
True Value literally has a rack of line. I run 3/8's on my Blaster. It's butt cheap @ .50 a foot but does get hard after a while.
06specialedition
I didn't want to start another whole new thread, but I was wondering if pingle valves have some sort of built in fuel filter where in goes in the tank? Should I run fuel filters inline with my fuel lines? I ride 100% sand dunes and didn't want any issues with a clogged pilot or anything. Or would filters hurt fuel flow? Thanks, -Zach
HardLuck
Yes they have a mesh style filter, I've never ran inline filters and have always been fine. Just make sure your not poring in dirty fuel and your all good Edited March 22, 2011 by HardLuck
