Larry's Shee Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 Is the spark a nice bright blue? Not lazy azz yellow? New plugs? New gas? How's pick-up coil gap? What's timing at? are plugs wet from kicking? Quote
MorrisJL Posted January 16, 2011 Report Posted January 16, 2011 I was having the same problem... wouldn't kick start, I thought is was the cold but I was still having the problem after push starting the letting the engine run warm. Turns out the spark plugs were not gapped correctly when replaced by the guy I bought it from. I gapped them and shee fires up without issue now. Quote
MNPK Posted January 17, 2011 Report Posted January 17, 2011 had a similar issue the other day....quad ran no problem two days before then went to start it and absolutly wouldnt kick...had compression, spark etc....turns out bad gas was the issue...drained tank and put fresh fuel in Quote
