Just had a about 10"s of snow fall last night so i was out on my banshee riding around an beating it up...clutch has been feeling like it grabs when it nearly all the way out at the last second but doesnt slip...well today took for a quick ride an soon as i left first gear it barely caught but shifted no problem bout 2 miles later block from my house started to make a squeeling noise when the moving but if i pulled clutch in it stopped..coasted the 100ft to my house an rode it up the driveway an it was a hard squeel still like metal on metal type sound...call the a friend he said could be the rod in the clutch bearing might have burn an welded itself bc i told him the clutch wasnt slipping....should i just replace the clutch anyway bc i dont know how old the clutch is could be the original?...my mods are in signature...any suggestions on what clutch an where to get online? thanks....btw i have my 4-snows on the quad so they are about 2 inches taller then my other tires so i figure it might have put alil more stress on parts
-
had a similar issue the other day....quad ran no problem two days before then went to start it and absolutly wouldnt kick...had compression, spark etc....turns out bad gas was the issue...drained tank and put fresh fuel in

how fast does a stock banshee go?
MNPK replied to Justgotabanshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
just last week in the blizzard we had...i was on a main road an there was atleast 6" of snow down an i was just shifting 5th gear full throttle an crossed under the hanging speed clocks and my brother behind me said it read 56mph...im stock with pipes/jetted and a filter...i could see going 70-75mph if in the top of 6th is very possible....56mph in the snow feels like 156mph lol -
only get the issue when snowing out, i ordered a gel but wont have it to next week an going to snow tomorrow...i was told shaving creme on both sides then wipe off....any other options before i try that one?...................an yes i have "anti fog" goggles but none the less they fog up...
-
4-Snows are amazing in the snow...last week we had a blizzard 15+inches of snow in my area and i was able to drive around my step brothers raptor who had stock tires on tho....some snow was just too deep an rediculous bc of drifts but otherwise tires served their purpose
-
forgot to take pics an post..just did the rear set of leds (6) lights in total just behind the back of the tool kit area

Out with the Old and in with the New....ODI Grips were suggested and i really like their price and styles...$23.95 plus shipping....didnt ride with them yet but put them on yesterday an they feel very comfortable..it is a huge step up from stock(mine were 10 years old!) gel feel to them cant wait to use..go on very easy an the clamp systems is simple to use
-
Ordered the ODI grips with the clamps...should have them early next week soon as i get them im putting them on an ill post pics
-
basicaly which dont suck lol...i read alot of bad reviews of progrip so i dont wanna end up with a crappy pair
-
My handle grips are originals and really worn out at this point...looking for something comfortable and obviously good grip any suggestions?
-
went riding in brooklyn and howard beach(yes on the beach) and it was great...brooklyn gets worn out pretty quickly but howard beach was sick bc miles of beach with low tide...and a bunch of jumps off in the middle of nowhere....but guys said they knew of a spot in port jefferson...anyone know about it? any issue with cops?
-
