Snopczynski Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 Send it back and just get a Mr. Gasket temp gauge cap. Then you dont have to cut a hose or dump the coolant to put it in. Quote

06specialedition Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 The Mr. Gasket cap works really well. I ran mine all last summer and it was nice knowing where my water temp was. I recommend getting one and their only like 25 bucks. I'm excited to see how it does this summer with my new aluminum radiator Quote
pabansheematt Posted December 28, 2010 Report Posted December 28, 2010 (edited) Try this on for size. Edited December 28, 2010 by pabansheematt Quote
CraigP Posted January 2, 2011 Author Report Posted January 2, 2011 Try this on for size. How did u mount ur gauge there? Do u have a sensor that reads the temp to the gauge? Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 I feel sorry for all you guys... Just run methanol and you will never think about engine temps again. haha! We ride in 100+ temps all over the dunes all day and never see temps above 150. If I were going to run a temp gauge I would drill/tap the head and put the probe in the head and mount the gauge up on the bars somewhere easy to see while riding. Quote
