if you have the JTATV one i have, i mounted it on the right side between the fender and the gas tank cover, i can take a pic tomorrow if you want

 

here theres a pic on their site, i got the digi one tho the analog kept blowing out

Send it back and just get a Mr. Gasket temp gauge cap. Then you dont have to cut a hose or dump the coolant to put it in.

 

 

no send it back and get the JTATV digital one. shit pwns. and who cares about using a circular bit to cut a hole in plastics there cheap

the digi gage flashes MAD bright if u start getting to hot

and while ur dumping that coolant throw in some engine ice

I feel sorry for all you guys... Just run methanol and you will never think about engine temps again. haha! We ride in 100+ temps all over the dunes all day and never see temps above 150.

 

If I were going to run a temp gauge I would drill/tap the head and put the probe in the head and mount the gauge up on the bars somewhere easy to see while riding.
