TZ Bearing

I put a used TZ bearing I had laying around on my newest 4 mil crank. I just assembled the cylinders in the cage and outer race and stuck it on the crankshaft. I'm looking at pics of TZ bearings and they show an inner race. WTF? Is there more than 1 style of TZ bearing or what?

When you say inner race, are you talking about the groove for the half clip that helpes like the cases up?

There is an inner race on the one in my garage JMadd

its a comon bearing type like ball bearing needle bearing i think they are called drum roller bearings. the only reason we know them as "tz" bearings is because of the use on the tz road race bikes from yamaha. used to order them through yamaha for the banshee cranks.

they use an inner race for the banshee crank..

Yes it will take the same key, The outer part of the tz will slide on and off but not the inner bearing race. As far as the o-ring mine had one but I think you can use the factory half clip also. Maybe someone will verify that.
