Im doing a DC conversion on my banshee to run two 3x3 fans. I ordered a 7004-RR150 150 watt regulator from trail tech to run them and was wondering if i have to use a battery since they are just small fans

Can I still use the stock lights if I do a DC conversion? -

Question About switching to Athena Cyliners
Z400Banshee replied to Z400Banshee's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
lol i dont hear many good things on here about the athenas but its want i have. i was going to use them on a 421 set up so i might get some better cylinders for the 421 How many jet sizes should i go up? The stock cylinders didnt have any porting done neither do the athenas -
I might be switching to atheans cylinder because my stock cylinder is cracked and i have the athenas sitting on a shelf. They are the big bore 392's so would i have to rejet since im only have 347cc with stock cylinders

I got my base gasket on friday so I finished putting it all back together to find the base gasket leaking It was leaking coolant through it and looked and felt a little oily. I even siliconed the rubber plugs in. I guess im going to try a different gasket :/ -

Help Please- Base Gasket Size For Squish Band
Z400Banshee posted a topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I just finished putting my stock motor together and im using a cool head. when i was putting it back together i noticed that the pistons wouldnt drop flush with the transfer ports. the pistons are slightly blocking them. i wasnt sure if thats normal on a stock cylinder motor or not. Ill post some pics of it as well. Anyways I put that head and did a squish band test and came with about .025. I know im going to have to switch the base gasket size and that will also help with the ports but im not sure what size gaskets to get. I'm using .018 cometic gaskets right now. http://s466.beta.photobucket.com/user/shootemup1864/media/009_zps36302fe5.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0 http://s466.beta.photobucket.com/user/shootemup1864/media/008_zps093d5652.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 -

(Bulletproof) Wiseco Pistons VS Athena Pistons
Z400Banshee replied to Z400Banshee's topic in Product Reviews
I wanted there to be something left lol plus im not buying any 5.56 ammo right now with them at almost a dollar a round -
So today I decided to test out some old pistons I had laying around to see how "bulletproof" these were. I took out my LWRC M6A2 with my 22 conversion. Here are the results. The first 2 are the athenas http://s466.beta.photobucket.com/user/shootemup1864/media/098_zps0519b2db.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2 http://s466.beta.photobucket.com/user/shootemup1864/media/099_zps6c464ddd.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1 http://s466.beta.photobucket.com/user/shootemup1864/media/100_zps287c74c9.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0

I have some atheana cylinders that are 68mm so I am thinking about having rob port them but I saw some cub cylinders on ebay. I want a trail bike set up. What do you guys think a better choice would be. Having rod port the atheana's or getting these stage 2 ported cubs? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Banshee-RZ350-421cc-68mm-Ported-Cheetah-Cub-Cylinder-/350325403705?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5191057039&vxp=mtr

I didn't get the arms yet so im still up for suggestions on them. If I did the +3 arms with 4/1 offset would they be about the same width as runnig +2 arms with the 3/2 offset?
-
I ride a lot of trails so I'm getting +2+1 lonestar A-arms with stage 3 elka suspension. I'm going to be getting new wheels for it but I dont know what wheel offset I should go with. Whats the advantages and disadvantages of 4+1? Same thing on the 3+2 advantage and disadvantages.
