Hey fellas so my shee has been starting to heat up a little too much so time to switch to a nice billet one. So the question is what kind? I DO. Want to get one from one of the HQ sponsors. My shee is a 65 mm bore with vfoce 3 reed and a cool head with 19 cc domes. Do I get the standard billet kindthat u just hook up or I heard there's another one the high flow kind. And are these hard to install thanks guys

I'm still running the stock one on my shee. But I've heard, Pro Design, Mull, Chariot,..those ones seem to be nice from what Ive heard.

 

I know Chariot has two different impellers they offer, A standard one and a high flow one...maybe look into that.

i recomend the mull, as well. they have one that uses your stock shaft. that's not a bad thing. it seems no one can make a shaft that holds up to wear better than the stock shaft

I too would run a mull water pump. The rest are just copies of the same style designe as the oem plastic piece.

I have taken out 2 ProDesigns that the shaft was heavily wore. I would go with the Mull, but it has been unavailable since the spring.

Ive heard not to get the modquad or prodesigns. You need to make sure that the shaft is chromoly or steel and the impellar is aluminum.

My prodesign has been in my banshee since I have owned it. I bought in in 2006 and the previous owner has had in in there for a couple years.

agree no probs here neither!..if you dont run a washer it will mess it up and sometimes 2 washers..just make sure the impellar aint hitting the cover and everything is lined up proper..

Thanks for that one guys. I still wouldn't buy a mod quad one though.

I just got an email from Brandon and he hopes to have the Mull Engineering impeller available in a week or so and it is now going to include a coated shaft.

I would say the wait will be worth it. His stuff is top notch. I would probably get an aluminum water pump drive gear as well. Much better than the plastic piece.

I run a Mod-Quad High Flow Billet Water Pump Impeller in my Banshee with no problems. I think it was a quality part and a good upgrade IMO. I bought mine new off eBay $52.00 Free Shipping.

Are the ones that M&M sell pretty good, i see they have a SS shaft? Are they a strait fit up?

We use/sell the Pro Design ones with NO troubles. Just like JBooker said, i have seen some taken out of motors several years later that looked like new. I cant say that about some of the other brands, and also agree with him on them. : (

We have not tried Mull's or Chariot's though and im sure they are also good.
