need more speed

wanna increase my speed lol i hate getting beat what can i do ? so far i have t5s vf3 vented air box no snorkel and vitos power stock pistons any suggestions

What are you looking to spend? What type of riding do you do? As far as the porting prices go check out the sponsors for prices. If you want to go fast it takes cash.

$200-350ish Depending what you want.

 

Thats very cheap for what increase you get from it.

Now if you want more acceleration AND top speed mph, then a different engine configuration is needed. Port job is the best bang for the buck.

If i were you id bolt on a Vito's Hemi head and put 20cc domes it in. Run good fuel. That will help you out alot. Their only like 180 bucks.

i was thinking of getting a 15t front but then id loose start off speed so idk about how good that would work

ok i was thinking of getting a cool head to but how nuch more power will it really put out i talked to a guy from pro design he said it would be my best bet instead of +4 timing advanse he told me 21cc domes would work

20cc domes will give you a noticable bit of torque and work good as low as 90oct. sea level, but 21cc and +4 timing will give you a bigger punch and stay on premium up to 66mm bore. timing plate is pretty cheap too.

well i dont want to advance my timing cuz i dont wanna change to a higher octane so im staying away from that and just getting a cool head with 21 cc domes

hmm so you want to go faster but just dont want to spend the cash?

 

changing the gearing will just slow it down unless you are trying to go faster on the top and your running down a paved road about a mile at a time. ( then you'd probably just burn it up anyways..)

20's will run fine on 90oct. with no timing, 21's will run fine on pump with timing......timing will make the bigger difference. oh, and those vitos superstock pistons wouldn't be ideal if you are gonna port, so i'd just run them untill they wear. that will give you some time to decide whether you want to port it, or save up to stroke/port it. once you port it for stock stroke, you usually can't get anything but drag port if you decide to stroke it, which is all topend.
