I am really not sure about a blaster. I know on banshee's for the 1/8 you want your gear ratio between 2:38 to 2:50 for 1/8 mile.

 

So divide your rear sprocket number with your front and that will give you your ratio.

ohh sorry, non ported stock cylinder banshee, cool head and kehin carbs ,bills exhaust. running asphalt ...bike ran 8.5's last with 17/41 gears just got my 15 front in the mail ...will be trying it out this week... im just wondering wgat yall are running

Irun 17-40 to the 1/4,on a prted bike,last night I marked off the 1/8 mile at my local test spot.w/15-41 gearing I hit 98 mph on a radar gun.not the most accurate way but it might help.I was just fucking around witgh my new toy

On a non ported cylinder its going to be pretty hard to pull that 17 tooth.

im Stoked!! 15/41gearing workin great. bike turned 8.2 at 78mph..Just got back from the asphalt track.. I thinking about taking SHEE to the 300ft dirt track tomorrow..Nahh i'll probly go to the kart track....... F^@k it i'll flip a coin :confused:

What size tire you running?

20x10 duro's i think

 

The American Racers are the tire to run and you don't need a 10" wide tire. A 19x8 would work great on your combo. There's still some tuning to do with your sprockets and I recommend getting a 16t front. Then from there you can start fine tuning with aluminum rear sprockets.
