  3. thats clears things up for me .I've been dialing in my project Blaster wrong the plug ..The plug is clean as new but it is pepie down low ... I thought it was lean on the top end throttle range.. went bought richer jets on my way right now to get leaner jets .. i was pulling my hair on that one

  5. you could also play with your gearing to help out your launch too tall gearing will kill some low end power
  6. x2 check reeds and cages ,,check to see that your needle clip did not break (mine was doing the same thing) check for air leaks on that side of the motor ..
  7. is there any fuel in the bowls..? What size are your carbs? WHats your set-up? if your carbs are too big size wise then it wont flow fuel correctly. The bigger carbs have less air speed coming through the barrel of the carb and are hard to start and/or a pain in the butt to get to idle..

  9. there ok pistons .. If your piston-wall clearance is good they will hold up
  10. looks like low octane fuel . Did you let your fuel sit for a while before burning it ? Mite have went dead
  11. ARE those pipes Big bore? They look big ,,and are they topend pipes

  14. ok thats what i thought.. but with the plate you adjust the whole timing( +4 or whatever)over stock throughout the curve.. the dyna or trinity you can adjust the timing like +4 on bottom end till a set rpm then -2 on the top end to rev-out better and not have to adjust the plate or anything you just have to have it programmed.. AM i right on that ??? the guy wants 100 bucks for it and i can install it and see if the setting can help the performance of my bike ..
  15. 12 O CLOCk and SPURDY yall hit the nail on the HEAD. . check compression =both cylinders 170psi switched plug wires + no change, dead right cylinders anyting but idle,, pulled the filters the clean the carbs and what do i SEE the NEEDLE sitting half way up out the main jet,,, ok now it makes sense the needle clip broke .. went to the local repair man he had plenty on hand laying around,,, come back to the shop pull the left carb to check what the clip was set at ,,, reinstall the left and right carb and SHEE runs like a top again thanks guys i love The BHQ and its members.. ohh and the repair man said he has a ignition programmer for sale .. its the small box that has stock curve 1 curve 2 and curve 3 on it he said it advances my timing without the adjustable timing plate ..Its programmed by trinity for a drag setup ..Will this help on my bike

  18. ok thanks guys, will be checking the compression ,and cleaning the carbs,,and switching the wires. check back in a couple days for an update..will check it out Friday,,i will have some free time then

My Shee fire's up and idles fine. when i go and hit the throttle the right cylinder goes out .. by that i mean it doesn't blow my hand away from the silencer but the left does. and the sound changes a lil , i can tell its not firing.. Fresh gas,, new plugs,, i made sure the plug wire wasn't grounding out or arching by wrapping them with electric tape for the plug boot to the coils .. So it's firing both cylinders at idle but mid to top RPM it only firing the left .. it started the last time i rode it so i changed to new plugs today,,Did i get bad Plugs Br8es or is it electrical prob

  21. I've seen that Can-am ...Mr RPM... That things MOVES .. It's true the front tires are in the air from time the the green light hits till about a 100ft or so...ALL rear tires and wheelie bar .. track didn't have the timing system working but it was the fastest thing there besides the Motorcycle quad( 4wheelers with motorcycle engines GSXR1000 and GSXR1300 engines ).   23. Sorry another coolhead design question??? Where can i find 16cc domes at? and what do i need to do besides jets and timing plate.. I will be switching to alky with these domes soon as i get a set.
