SAVAGE420 Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 dont get a bost bottle they are junk give you no more power. cool head, timming plate some reeds and port it That sums it up! Quote
GrMeyer Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 Cool Head +4 timing Pods only if your not riding in water or mud And always staying on top of your jetting. Quote
bbcmudtruck Posted May 27, 2010 Report Posted May 27, 2010 What kind of riding do you do? I would start working on suspension after you get the timing plate. I never really saw a reason to spend a ton of money on reeds, especially on a motor like yours. I would buy some nice reeds only when needed and spend that money somewhere else for the time being. Same goes for the cool head. You don't need it right now. You can buy a stock shaved head on ebay for $30 bucks. Depending on what riding you do, get rid of the dynoport and get some good pipes on there! Quote

2000banshee Posted May 28, 2010 Author Report Posted May 28, 2010 fmf fattys are a good pipe. What kind of riding do you do? trail riding, open fields, racing with friends and fair drag races and fair mx Quote
GrMeyer Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Well there is a difference on drags and trail riding. So you will need to decide on where you want your power to be. Down low, Mid or Top. I wouldnt go Top unless your just want to flat out drag. I would shoot for kind of an all around pipe. Everyone is going to have their .02 to give you. But here is a ? that a builder will ask you. What do you plan on doing with the motor later on down the road? Are you going to get it ported? I have Fattys and think they are a great all around pipe. I have tried T-5's and love them as well. But this bike I have now came with them so I didnt see then need to buy a new set that worked great for what I was doing. As you can guess buy now, you can do alot of things to the banshee. It just all depends on what your wanting out of it and how deep your pockets are. Quote

shawn941 Posted May 28, 2010 Report Posted May 28, 2010 Get dual pipes. that would have been this first i would say too,,,,lol. ya,,,and junk the boost bottle and just use a stock cross over tube. and you can also buy or have your stock head cut and save alot of coin bro,,it will boost your compression anywhere from 25 to 40 psi depending on how much its shaved,,,, Quote
