locogato11283 Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 first off, welcome to HQ bro i think you need to go with a strong 4mm stock cylinder setup or a 4mm cub. i would steer clear of that vitos big bore setup. it all depends on how much you wanna spend. t5's will probably conflict with just about any 4mm setup out there. youre going to end up needing to upgrade carbs and pipes. Thanks LOCOGATO. I have about 2,000 to spend right now. HOnestly i just want more speed but do not want to put drag pipes that stick out. I want to keep a stock look with a awesome motor....IF i keep the T5 what can i do to my engine? Quote

I want to keep a stock look with a awesome motor....IF i keep the T5 what can i do to my engine? in my opinion is a good set up but for the price that you going to get the vito cylinders for, you could get a cub and it will pull way more on top end because it has a third transfer and a vito has two , trust me it makes a big difference. what i think you should do to any set up you get is take off the t5s and get cpis put a 16 on front with a 40 on the back for now if you get the vito or the cub put a 17 on front. Thank for the advice. Well as of now im looking to get a 4mm cub set up..... Im taking my bike to Ct racing again. they offfer a 485 cc stroker kit, gurantteed to put my bike in the mid 80s horsepower... But im upgrading to inframe drag pipes and 36 carbs.... i have a question though, when you talk about top end what gears are they.. because i go to glamis, dumont, and pismo in CA and the highest gear i ever hit is 4th... kubitza123 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 You could send your stock cy's to F.A.S.T racing and Jeff can make it run damn close to a cub if your on a budget and i promiss you that you will have plenty of power and it will be reliable. I would really consider this option. If not keep you eye out alot of the time you can buy a complete built cub 421 ready to run for 2k-2500. 1 Quote

Hey banshee 10, if i do the 4mm stock clinder 68mm full drag port job with cpis and carbs would this setup be good for hill shooting? beacuse that all i do is hill shoot on sand. I do not drag on asphault...........and can you please give me a list of what I need to do for this full drag port please. i really aprreciate it. Thanks.... Quote
kubitza123 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 Easiest thing is to just call Jeff he will tell you everything. Just go to farmandsandtoys.com Give him a call he wil hook you up with a badass 4 mill Quote
Ieat4strokes Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 I just had a drag ported stock cylinder 4 mill done by jeff an I'm going to tell you now, it flat rips, you will not be dissapointed. Also he is going to tell you to ditch the T5s, that's what I had lol. And also your going to need carbs. 35's or bigger. I have 35's and he wants me to get 39's. So yes. But I would call him and talk to him directly. Great guy. Quote
sheefreak Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 You should definately as these guys mentioned call a quality builder and have him help you out. I have seen several of Jeffs bikes run well and he is a sponsor. Nothing against CT, but they are not typically a builder of the type of motor you are looking for. A good example may be the 12 tooth sprocket....maybe for MX, but NEVER for hill racing or drag racing. Quote
