blue02 Posted March 2, 2010 Report Posted March 2, 2010 What are peoples experience with running an aluminum axle on the dunes. I am considering getting one for my dune/drag shee. Quote
GrMeyer Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 I have ran lonestar +6 and g force +4. I have had one prob with the lonestar which snapped I half right off by the break rotor. Life time on it and they relaced it for free. I guess they have changed their ways of making them. So far so good. As for the g force. I have nothing bad to say and has been riden hard and had a great price to it as well. I could have had two g force axles for the price of lonestar. But then again those aren't aluminum Quote
firebanshee Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 I love my aluminum axle on the dunes. Alot better launch and your rear sprockets last ALOT longer. Quote
blue02 Posted March 5, 2010 Author Report Posted March 5, 2010 Thanks for the replies, I have been looking at the Modquad one. I wasnt aware G-force made an aluminum axle, will look into it. Quote
Havok248 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 I think GR was saying that the g force axles aren't aluminum they are just budget friendly Quote

Rockero Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 My Modquad works fine. It just get sand blasted on every ride. I am getting tired of polishing it. Quote
RadarRacing Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Modquads are nice axles. The JJA is nice also. The JJA has better lugnuts but the modquad is about $100-125 cheaper A drilled aluminum axle is actually a difference of about a bike or two drag racing. Quote

Don't forget to look at warranties, Ive always heard great things about JJ&As warranty. Quote
