Shit.......We may be riding in the snow boys. Gonna be fuckin cold for sure. Im down though :headbang:

You never know man. We did it last year on March 7th and it snowed the weekend before and the weekend after, BUT it was 77 degrees out the day we went. Some of ended up with a little sun burn even!

sounds like we are gonna get a really good turnout. its almost march not too much longer. once we get a little closer we should get a list going of people who are in for sure. give us an idea of how many to expect and what kind of parking we will need.

I have never been there....what kind of tires yall run out there? I see the pic from last year, the first bike just has dirt tires. Is there any drag strips you can run paddles?

Posted

Yea, a couple guys ran paddles where were racing last year. Most people use dirt tires since the sand is not true "beach" sand. It varies from really fine sand to pea gravel.

I wouldnt bring paddles again...it was too much work to change them out with not much racing, it's not true sand....just like pea gravel.

I've ran 4snows all over that place and did real well. They hook in the deep thick stuff and up the hills. Good time. They held up pretty good to.

Here's the last time I was there with everybody. Paddles worked good but there isn't a good straight to use them on. You wouldn't want to run them everywhere either. That's what made the 4snows nice. You can run them most everywhere in the loose stuff.
