broncbob Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Would I see any gain from having the cases ported on a 4 mill stock bore? Quote
BigRed350x Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 It all depends on your whole setup, and how much porting is in the cylinders. But on average you can see 2-4hp from good case porting on just about any bike. Quote
broncbob Posted January 19, 2010 Author Report Posted January 19, 2010 The thought right now is a dune/hill shooter port from Herr, Noss cool head with recommended domes for pump gas at 5000' feet by Herr, 4 mill crank, pistons for the 4 mill, Chariot reed cages, Chariot intake, 32 MM Mikuni TM's with pods, and T5 pipes, maybe Sheer small bore in frame. bbcmudtruck Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Yes! Port match the cases. I felt a seat of pants difference and it just seemed to run better overall. Quote
