The front sprocket size is 32mm, use an impact or put a ratchet on there and smack it with a rubber mallet (poor mans impact). quikshee Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 Yes, righty tighty, lefty loosey. The only reverse thread is for the flywheel I believe. Quote
polkaudio Posted January 6, 2010 Report Posted January 6, 2010 It's standard type threads. Don't forget to look at the condition of the locking washer. If it's bad, replace it. Quote

I just ordered a new washer. It is looking pretty bad. I don't have a 32mm socket, so I'm just waiting to have time to go out and get one. Quote

locogato11283 Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 i dont run my front sprockets tight enough to need an impact to take them off. i use a 1 1/4" socket and a ratchet to loosen or tighten mine. as long as you have the lock washer on it, theres no need to use an impact on it. Quote
RagunCajun Posted January 8, 2010 Report Posted January 8, 2010 Call me lazy then, i use an impact gun. Very lightly though since it has the lock washer. Quote
