WantABanshee Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 I don't have any chain rollers on my banshee.... Do you guys recommend running them? Quote
jbooker82 Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 yea you should deffinatly run them. They help keep the chain lined up and keep it from slapping. That way you dont derail a chain and tear the cases up. Quote
WantABanshee Posted December 28, 2009 Author Report Posted December 28, 2009 ok sounds like something i need to invest in Quote
SAVAGE420 Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 If you do ANY jumping at all, dont even bother with the upper roller. Trust me, they hey wont last very long at all. All i run is the big white roller on the front of the swinger, the rear slider and the lower roller. Just make sure you have your chain tight enough and it will be fine. Check it ever so often..... LS1Inferno Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 All i run is the big Tear Drop slider on the swing arm. As long as the chain is adjusted properly i haven't found a need for em. Quote
WantABanshee Posted December 28, 2009 Author Report Posted December 28, 2009 Ok I do not want chain slap I think I'm gonna run the lower one. I'm kinda a big rider, 6-5" 205 pounds and my chain feels really sloppy when I'm off the bike but when I get on the bike I can barley move the chain. Is this correct? Quote

Yeah thats normal but you still want a lil play in it when you sit on it not that much tho and when you adjust it make sure you axle is straight. Quote
locogato11283 Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 i do not run the top chain roller, but the bottom is a must. same with the rear chain sliders. make sure you have the pivot slider on and the one that guides the chain onto the rear sprocket. Quote
