Slickgib Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 any body run sand gear paddles? ? ? Quote
dave88 Posted December 25, 2009 Report Posted December 25, 2009 we had a set once on the wifes bike and i have never seen a bike get stuck so much they dig really well but they are super hard rubber my friends called them run flats because even with no air at all and a 290 # rider u could still go tried them on a coupe of bikes and they just suck imo save your money knobbies work better in the sand Quote
RadarRacing Posted December 26, 2009 Report Posted December 26, 2009 Thats good to know. I feel the same way about Kenda Geckos. They suck and feel like they weigh 50 lbs with wheels. I used to like the kenda dune runner straight blades but dont see em anymore, and wonder about the STI sand trax that are about $40 each on rmatv. I need some paddles for my girls Z400 but dont want junk. Quote
Banshee Chad Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 I got a set from the dealership when I bought my banshee. Been two and a half years still look new. And I run over shit all the time and no flats. Kinda heavy but I'm not racing so I dont mind. Do dig but u learn to throttle it when taking off. Got some ams sand snakes on wifes trailblazer, I like them. Pretty lite and hard to ruin too. I'll Proly get those next. Plus cheap, hit up alfies toy box and he can Proly hook u up thru rmatv Quote
phxrider Posted January 7, 2010 Report Posted January 7, 2010 No, but they look really heavy, and they are ugly! Quote
