  2. I'm putting my bottoms end back together and I can't seem to get the square key to sit and slide the gear onto it . Any advice ?

  6. Okay. My current cylinders are at 66mm and I'm just a stocker except for pipes and some vforce reeds . I just don't want to spend 428 for another bore on cylinders that are paper thin. So I'm tempted to get a set. But the old sayin is of it's too good to be true then it probably is .. So who knows . Wonder if the niche cylinders are boreable?

  8. Inside ur gas tank there are two sets of filters attached to the petcock. Make sure they are not clogged!also pull ur bowls on the carbs and make sure the jets are not clogged!
  9. For a great engine mod give Doc Brown a call and he can do the dalorian- fluxcopasator mod.. Pretty sweet just jump on ur bike and gun it to 88 and u can go back to the future!!! Hahhaah get a port job man! Some v force reeds are awesome! Mabe upgrade ur suspension
  10. make sure the choke tube is installed.. Its a small black tube that bridges between the 2 carbs! If it isn't there it would be causing the problems your having!
  11. I have an 87 banshee and want to extend the front end out a bit. i have a +4 lonetsar axel. i found a set of +2 +1 DRAG j arms... i dont drag though ..only dune... whill these work or will they just fall aprat?

  13. how much for a +2 j arm set up? i just got a lone star +4 axel put on my bike and i would like to widen the front sense i do mostly dune riding. i wanna hung them alot better

Yeah i was thinking that proting would be the next thing to do... i have a guy here in san diego that works on my bike. his name is rich yakkey. he did a race port on my brothers banshee and we have all the other same bolt ons but his pulls alot harder then mine... how much is a usual port job
  16. Ok... Ok what is the single best mod u can do for the most hp-performance gains...I myself when I bought my shee came with a set of T-3"s. And a k/n filter.. So after that I purchased a set of vforce 3 reeds and totally stoked about the gains from them also I threw a cool head and a alum impellar on.. I'm just wondering what I should do next. I love duning it up. So that's what I ride mostly!I'm thinking to upgrade my pipes to some t-5"s or 6"s
  17. also fyi im getting 155 psi of cpmpression on each side.. i have 22 doomes. is this to much. i have a stock motor with toomey pipes and kn filter
  18. yes i ran it alot oiler then usual. but im going to put the head back on and re torque to 22 this time. i only did 20 last time.
  19. i didnt retorque. nor did i rejet anything. i didnt know i would have to rejet after a top end.all i noticed is after it would sit over night and i would start her the next morning she would smoke like some coolent leaked but after 5 minutes of warm up she would run fine. sense i was board when i got home from my trip i pulled the head and noticed the candycane type cylinders.. i torqued it orginally to 20lbs so i hear i could go to 22. so ill re do it. i also wanted to double check everything looked good after the trip i was running pretty hard at some times. i want to install some vforce3 reeds.
