But i found it on page two and the name of it is ..... best way to cut trim plastics (done with dumbo ears). so hopefully you can find it and it has some helpful tips and tricks in there on how other people have done it.

when i cut mine i used masking tape to line where i wanted to cut them, and used a jig saw with a sheetmetal blade, it actualy cut prety smooth, then i scraped the edges with a razor blade to smooth out the cut ,sanded it with emmery cloth, then i carefully went around the cut with a propane torch and it made the cut nice and glossy. good luck

How do people get the front fenders to kinda bend up. Is it just where u cut it??? I was thinkin about pretty much takin off most of the rear plastics and most of the front and paint it all of my plastics a flat black. And is there and certain kinda paint that won't crack or chip off easily. Thanks for the advice guys! :)

take a look at my brothers bike it is in the for sale section under "2000 banshee for sale $2000" all i did was cut right on the fender line, and round off the bottom, you can do the same with the back.

I made this post couple years ago...

Hope that can help you, how to cut front fenders. This is my method but it's not the only one.

First step: take your beautiful elephant ears

2:With a felt-tip pen , trace a line of cut

3: Follow your line of cut with a jig saw

you can also take some sand paper to them and sand them down. if you know how to do it they will look like they came from the factory cut like that. It will leave them all smooth and rounded very nice.
