  1. you can also take some sand paper to them and sand them down. if you know how to do it they will look like they came from the factory cut like that. It will leave them all smooth and rounded very nice.
  2. dang that is an awesome deal, wish i could buy one but i need to get the motor fixed first before i buy anything else
  3. I would go with either HJR or F.A.S.T. they are awesome people to do business with and are among the best. Ohh and F.A.S.T. is located in Holton, KS
  4. from what i can gather, he wants some help picking parts. what parts to buy and what company is best to go with. to answer some of it, yes the chariot is a good head to go with. As far as getting a new crank and pistons just get the 4 mm stroker kit. then you need some carbs and a good set of pipes, t5, cpi, or shearer. of course this all depends on what type of riding you plan on doing with it. and of course dont forget about the suspension. maybe extended a arms better shocks, extended swingarm. there is an entire list of things that can be done.
  5. Either tire you get its just a matter of learning how to use them. You just have to learn how to slide and turn the bike with straight paddles or learn to launch and drag with v paddles. Either one can be done you just have to learn how to do it.
  6. ok cool thats what i was thinking but wasnt for sure. I wish i had the money right now but i am a little low on cash, and i think my motor is a little more important right now since it is broke, kinda need the motor to be able to ride it. but thanks for all the help
  7. i was looking on the appearance thread on page two and I found another topic about this I tried to create a link to that topic in here but im to stupid right now to do it lol. But i found it on page two and the name of it is ..... best way to cut trim plastics (done with dumbo ears). so hopefully you can find it and it has some helpful tips and tricks in there on how other people have done it.
  8. from what I know about paddle tires the straight paddle tires will be a little harder to turn than the v style paddles but you can learn to turn them it will just take a little more effort and some getting use to.
  9. Ok so i been looking at getting a arms and i want extended a arms to make it wider and handle better. Now i now the +2 means they have 2" longer. But the +1 I have read moves it one inch forward. Is that correct? If it is what is it actually helping, what is it doing. What is the point of moving it +1. I have seen that some a arms are just +2 and nothing else. While others are +2 +1.
  10. ok, cool thanks everybody for the info.
  11. so probably basically which ever one I go with they are both good. Just a matter of preference. Do the LSR have any kind of warranty.
  12. Ok ya i will look into his work some more. Its going to be for the dunes. so trail riding some drag racing hill climbs jumping just little bit of everything
  13. Anybody have any complaints on lone star products or customer service or anything? I am in debate on either getting LSR or wicked a arms. I know ASR has crappy service and i have read lots of threads and everybody seems to love the wicked a arms but what about LSR? Also anybody know how LSR swingarms and axles are or any suggestion on better ones.
