That was probably a 3-4 hour ride in wooded trails. I guess each bike runs differently and each rider rides differently. Results may vary Quote

bansheesandrider Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 (edited) Two strokes burn more gas because each cylinder fires every revolution instead of every other revolution like a four stroke does- that is also why a two stroke makes more power for a given displacement. 2.5-3 hours is all I can get out of a tank on my banshee and most of my friends Banshees are the same. I know I would use 5-7 gal over a weekend trip day riding only. (about 10 hours total) Now this last trip with the YFZ, I used 2.5 gallons all weekend. I have always had 2 strokes, so I was shocked about the difference in fuel use. 5-7 gallons?...... thats it? i have to bring atleast 10 gallons every weekend i go out. . I get about 2.5 hours out of a tank. same here and i wouldnt have it any other way. i would rather ride my banshee and get shitty gas mileage then ride a 4 poke any day of the week. Quote
