yep they like the gas, i have a 2 into one also but its nothing for me to go threw 15-20 gal for a weekend trip to the dunes and thats stopping at the top of ever 3 hills to wait on the raptors

if you use a .035 or smaller fluxcore you can weld it with that, thats what i use on everything, i have welded some realy thin stuff with it like re welding a cannopy frame you just have to know how to work it and you will probly have to spot weld it, i have welded on all sorts of auto body, and exhaust with mine. you just got to know when to roll em, know when to fold em and know when to walk away befor stuff starts flying across the room

I have a couple cracks in mine too im about to weld up, i have a small mig but will use the torch, i can make that look just like a tig

I go down to waynoka alot, or down to south haven to Stricklands at the Kansas Bad lands its not real great riding out their but its 10 bucks for the week and its 20 min from my house. I just picked up a +4 swinger off craigslist going to pick it up tonight after wrk. I also have 40 acres out here i mess around on a little

Hey yall im working on my first rebuild, the bike will be .30 over when done thinking about a light dune port, my bike has the trinity 2 in 1 carb that i love but was wondering what the best pipes to put on would be it has fmf sst on it now but the head pipes are craking, I am doing shift mods modded star new lever and springs due to worn out adjustment and spring. also looking into RS for timing and to power better lights. i ride alot of trails and a little open dunes. thanks for all the help

well i split the case today, all the gears look good, I found one of the shift forks that had verry little wear on it, so i'm going to replace it, but on the shift rod the big spring looks to be worn and the adjustment screw that the spring rides on is worn to about 1/2 the diamater of the screw. I dont know if that would cause my problems with seccond gear or not but thats the only thing i could find that was showing wear. I will do a better check tomarro i forgot my calipers at work. the problem i had was only in seccond gear it would jump teeth but it wasnt the chain. it only did it under hard throttle

Ya i knew about all the required stuff, Also planned on a Ricky Stator with adjustable timming plate, thought about turboing the crank also if i dont spend the 600 on a 4 mil. this is my first 2 stroke rebuild, but i have a cusion that use to race banshee's he said he would give me a hand, thanks for the info.

Well I got my shee paid off, now puting money towrds a rebuild, well i have to last time I was on the sand i lost 2nd gear, thought no big deal time for a top end rebuild. pulled the head, one of my pistons had a busted skirt. I'm takeing my Cylenders into work tomarro to put them on a high tech measureing device to see how far out of round it is, hope i can get it out with a 20 over bore mesured the pistons and it was already 20 over so i will be 40 over, was thinking about a 4 mm crank, i'm gunna replace the crank berings while i have it apart. but what other mods should i make to my trans. I found the gears i think i need for 20 to 30 bucks a pice dont have motor torn all the way down yet so i'm going on a guess that i need 2nd gear and 2nd wheel. planned on a modded shift star. I was also wonder about how much it would cost to bore the cylenders. I was thinking about making a torqe plate and doing it myselfe I have a brideprot at my shed and a boring bar just no torqe plate cant be to hard to make. Thanks

Well i tore the top end down today, think i found out why it was running shitty, besides 2nd gear the piston on the stator side was busted, and cracked, the bore dosnt look to bad hope .010 more of a bore will get me, well thats all the findings for now , only have the top end apart at the time, going to split the case tomarro first timmer any tips would be appricated thanks

well i know its been a while but i finaly got the paddles off and the knobies back on, rode it found out it only dose it in seccond so i guess i get to do a tear down, o well it was about time for a top end rebuild anyway, trying to save the money for the 4mil crank, got some new neibors with yfz's and i still smoked them without a good seccond gear hehe f##king 4 strokes

sprokets are band new just put them on befor trip, new chain to come befor next trip its geting some wear on it, havent had much time to work on it been working 12's all week grrr that realy cuts into my mess around time, but lake season is comeing hope to have better luck with the boats :biggrin: hope to get some work done on the bansh this weekend thanks for the idies TATOR

Hey yall I was down at Waynoka this past weekend had a good time but have a problem, when i was riding in the trails it would feel and sound like the chain is jumping teath so i checked tension it was a little loose but not bad so i snuged it up a little bit but still had the problem, it only dose it when in loose sand and you get on it like going around the turns if i'm out on the flats and dont have much load on it its fine, I'm thinking its something in the trans but i'm not real shure, realy wasn't wanting to tear down the motor but i guess i will, but as the saying gose your not having fun enless your breaking something . well any input would be helpfull, thinking 4mill crank when i tear it down more power to kill myself

sounds like a good turnout, i will be down by shelter house 1 and 2 in april dont know where at in march but their will be a big group of buggies in april we get shelter 1 and some buddies get 2 its hella fun

hey yall i know its a little early but better then late i guess, but i'm gunna be a Waynoka March 21st-23rd (easter weekend) then going back down Aipril 4th-6th weekend after snake hunt too many ppl for me at snake hunt so i try to avoid that weekend anyway maybe we can meet up

north camp was full we didnt get electric and we had the camper their fri morn but we hat the generator so it wasnt to bad, sand was a little rough for me but i think it was worth it for the weather that we had i can have fun no matter if its rough or smooth, but you ask the other half she likes it rough and for a while but that dont happen to offten lol but you know TATOR

i live bout 2.5 hrs away, i was down their the weekend befor halloween, and the last weekend in september for my birthday, i bought myself this banshee for my birthday i like it but man dose it like that gas, i try to make it whever i can if its nice out i will head down for the day and play aroud we also have 3 buggys we take when mom and dad go but now i have my banshee and its alot less work to head down so its not to far of a drive for me at all to head down and play

hey yall i'm headed down to Waynoka again next week i got buddys headed down tuseday but i wont be their till thursday maybe wednesday night just taking my 93 dodge and banshee this time i will be their thursday yes turky day but you know and probly be their till sunday should be fun. lots of gas, my weekend trips i use about 15 gallon so ya probly 2 times that this time but its worth it to be on the sand so if any one is headed that way pm me and maybe we can ride, by the way my teal banshee is now white and black with a teal seat tell i get my seat cover made TATOR

alright i know you all have heard about it its called dial-a-jet and i was wondering if anyone has used one or know's some one who has one i was just wanting to know how well they work and what all i will have to do to put if on my bike or if it is worth it, at the time i have 19cc cool head, and bored 30 over with a trinity 35 mm single carb set up thinking about a dune port but got to wait for money so if anyone has any info on these things i would love to know TATOR

well i finaly got some time to work on it i checked compression it is 150 on each cylender havent tryied swaping plug wires yet its raining out at the time so cant ride it I will check the jeting and see what i need from their Tator

hey yall i just got my 1st banshee i have had a little problem when i have it under full throttle the cylender on the right side dose not fire so i changed plugs thinkin it might be fouled but got on and ran it and it did the same thing i can let off about 1/8 throttle and it runns fine it has a 35 mm carb on it 2 into 1 cool head with 18 cc domes i also cleand air filter any help would be great TATOR

Ya i like the short drive and i use to compain about that long rive when i was younger not anymore when i see how far other ppl go just to have some fun in the sand Well here is the line up form any of ya i will be driving my 93 dodge its grey and dark blue 2 tone with the big red trailer snf you will know it's me coming in with the shee on the gooseneck hitch and teh 3 buggies stacked behind on the flatbed, Dad will have his truck 2000 dodge silver with purple graphics hard to miss, with the fifhwheel, are friends from Minisota will be their in a 95 green f350 with a overhead on it, and finaly my brother in law will get their friday night in a 90 f250 red and balck fade job on one side and yellow primer bed on the other side another hard to miss, well thats what the groop is looking like so we wont notice a few more ppl if ya stope by TATOR
