changed my brake lines how do you bleed them i pump the brakes hold them and open the bleeder and close it back but that is not working have done it for about one hour still no brakes need help.

First of all front or rear? If your doing the front brakes buy a Mighty Vac at your local automotive store for about $40. It will take you all day + if you pump and bleed and probably wont get any where. A might vac you can be done in 15-20 minutes. If your working the rear brakes you can pump and bleed with no problem.

Sounds liek your doing it right. Good luck, maybe you can ride next summer. I will never bleed front brakes again without a vac tool. I am only 34, I would like to ride before I am 60.

Rear is easy peasy.

I also had the same trouble. I found that just one stroke of the master cylinder and then crack the bleeder worked best for me, i think if you keep pumping it it sucks the air backout of the other line. Slow and steady, just do one side at a time.

Good Luck. banghead
