transmission oil

I run 10-40 synthetic in my 7mill :confused:

 

hasent hurt it i figuer the heavier since i live in AZ and its warmer than most places.. glamis gets a lil warm too :evil:

 

We use Type F automatic transmission fluid in our alky Banshees. Works good and doesn't cost that much.

I run the Yamalube 10w-30. I tried the 10w-40 and a couple different Maximas. 10w-30 is definitely the way to go, anything thicker will cause clutch creep unless it's really hot where you ride. I never tried transmission fluid though. A lot of people say they run it with no problems, but if you don't change your fluid often I would say go with the Yamalube and don't worry about it. By hot I mean 100 degrees or more.
