Do i need to re-jet when using these pipes, aftermarket reeds, and an k&n filter? i think im in troub le because my newly rebuilt motor is only smoking from one pipe...

yup mine was doing the same i think i narrowed it down to carbs not being synced rite and float level was off ....but without knowing more hard to say what you need ...i am running same setup as you and ride at 800 ft and run 290 or 300 withh 27,5 ...and middle clip position

and to add to it, summer here gets 100* and winter gets in the teens with snow.. ughhhh. i want to ride this thing for deer season. guess ill have to change the jets then too

you should be in the 320- 350 range with no lid on the airbox. on these pipes, you need to get the mains, then needles, then airscrews dialed in to tell you which pilots. they tend`to either like 27.5, or25 on the pilots. do you run with an airbox lid or snorkel?

totaly stock airbox with a k&n. pro circuits website says 260 for mains and 25's for pilots...

Loose the snorkel. That thing is killing the performance. Your motor is trying to breathe through a 1 inch hole.

i went from what the website said and my bike runs great.. i ride at sea level around 85-90 degree's outside ,and my mods are just k&n filter(snorkol off) and pro circuit pipes.

I used to run bored stock carbs with fmf gold series pipes on pod filters and port work with 390 mains in them. I now run pro circuits with a port job on mikuni TM 28mm carbs at 390 mains. You can try the 260, but it seems awful lean to me. There is no way I would do it.

i have k&n pods with pro circuits and run a 290 main, 30 pilot and needle on third clip. lose the snorkel and the lid if you dont ride in lots of water.
