  1. does it usualy smoke alot durring break in?
  2. figured it out.. the clutch disc's were rusted to the plates.. durrr.

  4. i guess its trashed.. it just wont disengage..
  5. yeah, the arrows line up when its disengaged... i loosened it further, and i can push the lever with my finger until the arrows line up..
  6. ill go check it now.. where is ravenwood in conjunction with st. louis?
  7. I finally installed my chain, and tried to ride my banshee (that runs like crap). When i pull in the clutch and pout it in gear, it lunges forward and dies. The clutch isnt fully disengaging. I adjusted the cable all the way out, and still nothing. Any ideas or is this a common problem?

  9. alright, i cleaned the shit out of the carbs and put 27.5's and 290's in because of the procircuit pipes. now, the RIGHT side pipe gets warm, pings, and smokes its ass off (super rich i think) and the LEFT side never gets warm at ALL and dosent smoke untill you rev the pissout of it! GRRR this is starting to get old.. tomorrow ill put the stock pilots in, and see what it does. any idea on the one side smoking and one side not???
  10. alright. i put the choke tube on there, no luck. still needs brake clean to start, then while its running, if i spray shots of brake cleaner into the left carb, it stays at its normal idle and kees running, but if i spray it in the RIGHT carb, it idles up like crazy! the left pipe gets way hotter way faster than the right pipe. any ideas?
  11. choke tube is NOT there. ill grab some vacuum hose from work today and get one on there. ill report back tonight!

  16. alright i ordered 2x 290s 2x 260s 2x 25s 2x 27.5s what do you mean by setting the needle on the third clip? edit: on the vitos website, i should order for the stock 26mm carbs correct? the other ones offered arent listed.. hmm. i am once again not sure what to order.
  17. I have a matco 4s double bay tool box in good condition. Have both of the keys. delivery is available. matco Part#: 4225R color is orange. 314 503 7586 25" deep box. 42" tall. around 53 " wide. retails for 4k $2400 email for pics because this thing hates me and wont let me upload!
  18. whats your elevation? maybe ill run this on an obd1 honda ecu, with two stock 280cc injectors... hahaha!
  19. totaly stock airbox with a k&n. pro circuits website says 260 for mains and 25's for pilots...
  20. and to add to it, summer here gets 100* and winter gets in the teens with snow.. ughhhh. i want to ride this thing for deer season. guess ill have to change the jets then too
  21. 500ft above sea level, about 85*, stock airbox with k&n..
  22. Do i need to re-jet when using these pipes, aftermarket reeds, and an k&n filter? i think im in troub le because my newly rebuilt motor is only smoking from one pipe...
  23. I tried disconnecting the tors, and still no dice. I got advice from a friend about screwing the "air" screws all the way in and then back out about two turns... tried it with no luck..

I dont have the slightest clue where to start! haha. i bought this banshee in a box, did a top end rebuild, put it all together, and i can only get it to start by spraying brake cleaner in the carbs, and if i dont keep in the throttle to keep it running, it just dies. stupid carbs! theyre clean as can be.. im just used to a laptop!
