How long between oil changes

Hi all , just wondering how often or after how many hours do you change your engine oil

Well my two cars and truck I change every 3,000 miles.

The John Deere I change it ever spring.

I know people with 4 stroke sleds that only change it once a year (mainly because its a 3 hour tear down hassle)

My buddy only changes his wifes 4 stroke quad once every other year.

My two sleds dont have to change oil cause it a 2 stroke.

 

I hope that covers it...???

When I ran Gearsaver I changed my oil after about 3 or 4 trips.

Naa man JK I change mine in the shee every 4-6 months. I change the oil in my gixxer every 8 months or so unless I ride it extremley hard.

Once every other year, but if I put probably only put 10~15 hours a year on my bike.

geez i change my oil either after every moto or every other moto on my mx shee

 

and on my trail bike every other weekend depending on how i rode..

i have only changed my oil once this year and i have about 35hrs on it running amsoil. im going to do it here pretty soon.

If Im reading the manual right it goes by time or hours. Its 150 hours or 6 months. Please correct me if Im wrong or don't know how to read right :biggrin: !

I change my two strokes every 10-15 hours. My four strokes every 15 hours.

i change mine after every dune trip or once a month, but i got a 1000 gallons of oil three feet from my work bench

I also change mine after every dune trip. I like to inspect the old oil. It gives you an idea of clutch condition and how well everything is holding up.
