broke as a joke Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 I have Pro circut platinums with 304 silencers, my buddy has a full white bros system on his 250f, will we get in there? or is there a decibel limit? How bout spark arrestors? Also how about good places to camp nearby? Sorry for all the questions, I don't get to go on trips like this much and I want to make the most of it, its a 12 hour drive for us. Quote
Boo_69 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 If I remember right it is a 98db limit. My wifes raptor was at 99db and they let her in. Sparkies are needed. Good place to camp, we always stay at Yogi Bear park with the fam. and state park the other times. But I heard there is a "NO alcohol" policy now at the state park. . There are alot of campgrounds near by though I haven't been to them. Quote
87sheerips Posted July 8, 2009 Report Posted July 8, 2009 I think its actually 96db Boo, but I am not for sure either... And clog-arrestors are required ha... Yogi is the place to go now Quote
broke as a joke Posted July 11, 2009 Author Report Posted July 11, 2009 ok sounds like yogi it is, so how loud are my pro circuts? on second thought I guess since they don't have spark arestors it doesn't matter. If I put the stock silencers back on with the pro circut pipes will it be ok? Quote
brian102 Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 where/whats yogi cause i go to the dunes but hate all the restrictions Quote
Boo_69 Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 Jellystone campground, where people sleep in tents/campers. They also have campfires there and drink beers and whiskey. Quote

Yogi is the place to go now I second the 96db, I was there this weekend. If you want to get on all you have to do is park by the dune and if they are checking sound all you have to do is wait till they pull one person over to check them then there is about 5 while they check them that you are safe to get in. As long as they are checking one person they will not call another person over OR I have never seen it happen. Quote
motodrumer58 Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 (edited) Just got back from the dunes and they were checking db's on Sunday but not on Monday. My buddy was sporting a full set of t5's and did not pass on Sunday. I was using the 2-1 toomy hush kit and was not even getting a second look. p.s I spanked the line up of for pokes that were dragging. I love port work!!!!!!!!!!!! RZBansheeMan Posted July 15, 2009 Report Posted July 15, 2009 They are never consistent on Db checking or spark arrestor checking, we just bought the screen arrestor inserts and installed them in the end of the silencers, seems to work fine. Quote
