laidout20 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 so ive had my banshee for a year now. riding mostly trails. ive always been really into mini trucks and not really riding. i went up to silver lake yesterday and i think im hooked. haha my banshee is completely stock and ive had a few problems with it running like shit but now it runs great! i was racing a few people and just having a blast. so now i need to sell all my truck bullshit and start buying shit for the banshee. just wanted to let everyone know i had a blast yesterday. sheefreak Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 Silver Lake is one of my favorite places on earth. And yes, very addicting. I started riding my stockish bike there about 5 or 6 years ago, it has been a money trap ever since. Quote
locogato11283 Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 dude, youre screwed.. might as well just forward your paycheck to the parts guys.. Quote

JasonsBanshee Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 There's a few retired minitruckers on here, one being myself. MikeNick on here is too. Here's my old truck that I built. I don't miss the scene at all. Too much drama and the kids nowadays ruined it. If anything, I'll build a hot rod truck or something. Quote
laidout20 Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 haha i just wanted to let everyone know how much fun i had. can see how it is addicting. as far as signing my checks over to the parts guys. WISH I COULD! used to be able to blow money. hard paying for a house and hobbies on single income. oh and awesome truck dude. heres a few pictures of the trucks ive owned/own. i have the red one and piece of sh*t white one still. didnt build the blue/orange one or the red one. im going to put the red one up for sale very soon hopefully make some money i got it cheap. JasonsBanshee Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 damn, you know those rims are for the original spinners? Uh no... These are the Boss 304s, nothing to do with spinners. I'd never put spinners on a minitruck. Quote

Yea, I sold it. I got so burnt out between building this truck from the ground up and running my shop. I ran Mann Made Customs for about a year then Jasons Kreationz for about 5 years and during this time I worked on a lot of trucks and cars. I mainly did suspension fabrication but would do pretty much whatever the person needed. I took on too much at one time and lost all interest in it. To this day I still don't miss it. I have a lot more fun on my Banshee than I ever did in my truck. Back in the day, trucks and the show scene used to be so sweet. I used to love going to Pigeon Forge, Indy bash, Showfest, Cruisefest and all the other shows but anymore the kids in the scene have ruined all the fun and turned it into a big party. I'm not trying to destroy a truck that I dropped so many years and countless money into all because someone wants to see my girl's ta tas. Quote

JasonsBanshee Posted June 8, 2009 Report Posted June 8, 2009 why the hell not. boss had the spinners for those rims when they first came out Boss doesn't make spinners. I'm sure some people bolted up universal spinners to them because the lip is plenty big enough to sit a spinner in to. Spinners belong on donks if you ask me. It's just my opinion. Quote
laidout20 Posted June 8, 2009 Author Report Posted June 8, 2009 yeah i see what your saying. started out just me and my buddy working on trucks down at his shop. now we have both kind of gotten away from it. im stuck with a truck in pieces that needs to be put back together. i dont even care about it like i used to. ive gone to indy for the past 4 years i think but thats cancelled now. I think i may be going to camp n drag which i think is replacing indy and that is next month. hopefully i can sell the red truck by the end of summer. Quote
