JasonsBanshee Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 It's time to start planning the next ride. I'm been thinking about Big Rock. It's in Maysville, Kentucky. Would anyone be down for that? It's 2000 acres of trails and fields along the Ohio river. Here's their site. http://www.bigrockoffroadpark.com/articles/home.asp Or we could always hit Badlands again. Give me some feedback on the location and we'll get it going. Quote
RollinRhino Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 (edited) I'm all for hitting up a new place! Badlands is great, but I would prefer something new. BTW............mispelled was still at Haspin when I got there and he is spending one more night at Haspin. Couldn't get his tumbler to unlock still. He will have the Ford dealership in Connorsville give him a fix tomorrow so he can get home. We tried to see if there was a way for him to hitch his trailer to my truck, but all I have is a reciever setup and I don't have the plate to move the ball over to my bumper and I could have hauled his trailer to my house and stored it for him so it would be safe for the night and he could pick it up tomorrow, but no dice. Besides that the trails were clean today and had a blast. Edited May 18, 2009 by RollinRhino Quote
Keyser Soze Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 I have been wanting to go to Maysville for awhile, but its hard to get away from the badlands, it seems the riding is always good out there. For me Maysville is a long drive and they keep the same hours as badlands......I personally would vote for the badlands...but would for sure go to maysville if thats where most others wanted to go. T_Shee Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 id like to try big rock. i hope tyler makes it home ok. i guess if your gonna brake down haspin would be the place as long as you have your quad with you and enough fuel and 2 stroke oil. bad place to be broke though considering your in the middle of no where Quote
Misssppelllleddd Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 I just got back home now. The tow truck came and the guy used his screwdriver in the keyhole and tapped it with a cressent wrench and it loosened that tumbler up. He got the truck started and I was on my way this morning! Even though it sucked being stuck out there I still had a blast hitting the mx track! There were only two people camping last night so it was really quiet. Anyways its time to get everything cleaned up now. I vote for badlands by the way. Quote

JasonsBanshee Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Looks like we'll be doing one of each. Since we did Badlands not too long ago I'd saw we do Big Rock first then Badlands later in the summer. I'll start the thread... Quote
