The inner clutch basket correct? You could go and spend money on a drill bit and a easy out set or just get a new one to replace it for the same amount you would spend on the materials and headache to get it out.

K I was putting on my clutch and snapped a bolt inside the basket. How do I get this out? Is there a tool that does this?

I took my inner hub out and drilled it from the back side. When I did the screw began to come out on its own. Or like 44 said go ahead and spend the few bucks on the easy out set.

This would be my second one I ruined lol. I guess I can try this easy out. Or actually might try your way. Thanks a lot. How did you drill it from the back?

A guy on here a week or so ago I think did the exact some thing.. Said he was able to turn his out using a pic because the bolt really wasn't that tight..

Not sure why those damn things break all the time but have heard of it MANY times, if indeed its the ones Iam thinkin of.. Good luck..

This may seem stupid but mine broke rate before the threads. So I took a punch or a little pic and started spining it out like that I also took a flat headed screw driver and put it in there and hit it with a hammer a few times to give it a little groove and just unscrewed it and after I got it out enough I threw vise gripps on it and pulled it all the way out. Hey it worked and I didn't damage anything. But I was gana do the same thing take it off and drill it from the back but I did it my way first and it worked fine

Try the easy out, and if it does not work you can get a new one for 30 bucks, and damn near every parts supplier has them on hand. You,ll pay that for the easy out, drill bit, and other shit youll need anyway.

Thanks yeah I went to lowes pick up the easy out my uncle is real good with that stuff has been building bikes and cars for awhile. but I got a 3/8 and drilled it then used it. came right out. didn't know it was reversed thread for the easy out lol. guess you learn from your mistake. anyways the drill bits were $3.28 and $2.59. anyways if anyone does thi make sur it is centered when you are drilling so try and take a puch and punch a little whole for a guideline.

On the backside of the inner hub it has the holes the bolts go into. To solve the problem in the future I bought some stainless bolts. The OEM bolts have broken when I torqued them to the 7.2 pounds.

yep, did the exact same thing about two weeks ago, but i backed mine out with a dental pick. broke off before 7 foot pounds.

glad to hear you got it out.
