badbrad Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 i ride some pretty tight trails to wide open shit and i love my banshee... im not trying to start a war but alot of people on this site make it seem impossible to ride a banshee in the woods.. up here there is no such thing as dunes... the closest thing we have would be maybe the parking area where we ride... 450 is a fun bike with plenty of power... but i find my brothers boring.... i enjoy how you need to know how to work the clutch and down shift on the banshee.... banshee isent for everyone... maybe its cause im younger and like working more with poping the clutch and feathering it.... both bikes are good bikes.... i just enjoy "working" on the banshee better then riding the 450... again my banshee does not have alot of mods.. pipes air filter a arms and rear axle.. i do have other mods... but those were the big difference makers.. I AGREE WITH THIS ONE! about trails and shifting... sorry for the wrong above post Quote
lilmegill727 Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 im kind of in the same position as you. i want a yfz or another type of 450 but wanna keep the shee but being 13 i cant afford 3000! i might be sellin the shee because im gonna start mxin'. then i might eventually buy another shee and make it a badass hillclimber! im not sure yet. im definetly eventually getting a 450 though. i dont know if im selling the shee yet and buying one or saving up for a looooong time to have both sorry to jack your thread. No more drama in the BHQ...it's kinda hard being da double jog.... It's like homes. Not the time to sell, great time to buy. If you could get a good price for your shee, I'd sell it. Their value is not going up any time soon...only lower in my opinion. There is 20 plus years of the bike out there.. A 450 is better suited for what you want to do... Quote
