Banshee are the best at everything! I wonder why their sales started to drop off in 2001? :ermm:  Quote
dragbanshee Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Its a shame they couldn't have updated the frame and suspension for the last three years of production. Just day dreaming!! Quote
Meat Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Its a shame they couldn't have updated the frame and suspension for the last three years of production. How bout it. Yamaha could have a sold of lot of modern-day chassis'd Banshee. Quote

Angel ripper Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 I would have bought one hope Yamaha dosent eventually come out with the rumored 500cc 4 poke twin and call it a banshee It better have a differwent name there is only one banshee, and its a 2 twin 2 stroke ! Quote
grizzly700 Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 yeah i will be pissed if they change the banshee to a 4 poke. Quote
dajogejr Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Their flag ships are the Raptor and YFZ...they have no need to develop more 4 stroke ATVs IMO. Think about this....both those bikes have been around only a handful of years now, and each has had the motor totally redone. Meanwhile, the basic power plant for the banshee remained unchanged...I should say, remains unchanged. What if they put a little R&D into the shee...damn shame. Pollution hippies...I swear. Quote
pinned247 Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 I don't mean to sound like a dumbass but what is R&D? Resources & Development? Quote
dajogejr Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Close... Research and Development... Quote

dajogejr Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 Anytime... I was on a road trip for work today, all day...away from a computer. Getting my fix now....LOL. Quote
Angel ripper Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 I beleive it was last year or the year before, yamaha invited kory ellis {who was with Yamaha at the time} to take the phazer 500 sled for a test ride, to see if he thought that motor would make a good power plant for a atv Quote
dajogejr Posted March 28, 2009 Report Posted March 28, 2009 I've heard that one, a 400cc 4 stroke and Honda bringing back the 250 R plenty of times over the years. The banshee ones always start out as an April Fools joke for Dirt Wheels magazine.... Even sleds are starting to go 4 stroke.... The days are coming to an end boys....and it flat out sucks..... Quote
