Not really nasty...they will act just like the cubs but with more of a low end due to the PV's in the exhaust port. the PV's are great for duing, trail riding(smaller PV'd motors, well I think) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
2001Stroker Posted March 16, 2009 Report Share Posted March 16, 2009 RZ350 Cheetah RZ350 is what Banshee engines are based off of. Pretty much like a Banshee motor, just with powervalves. There are slight differences with the cases and electrical system though. The pv's run off of electric controller's and servo's. Cheetah is basically a Cheetah DM with powervalves. You get the same race ready cylinder, but with tons of bottom end power. The pv's are run off of exhaust pressure. Powervalved motors are great for trails/hillclimbs. broke Posted March 20, 2009 Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 you don't need rz cases.. but u will need the wiring and the servos in the jugs Speedy is right. They will fit on Banshee cases. I think the Banshee trans ratios are better than RZ for dirt anyway. If you are even going to do the swap, get the RZ shift forks and drum. They have similar outside castings, that's about it... Bigger intakes, bigger bores, port work is different. The only similarities are they are made by CP. 2strokespirit Posted March 22, 2009 Report Share Posted March 22, 2009 (edited) RZ barrels fit on banshee cases, but banshee barrels do not fit on RZ cases, they do, but the RZ cases do not have enough material to cover the banshee cylinder's base, the water jacket with the rubber plug of the banshee cylinder will be exposed halfway if used on certain RZ cases, they 29L RZ cases is the same as the Banshee ones.. They make RZ350 cylinder (Factory OEM with electrical controlled power valves) OR they make a Cheetah (Cheetah cylinders use a spring pressure controlled power valve) Cheetahs are made by an aftermarket company called CP Industries. Power delivery is super smooth and propels you effortless around the dunes, without having to worry about shifting every 3 seconds. Kinda like I'd imagine a turbo raptor to run like.
