Ok I was thinking about building a banshee for my girlfriend but she doesnt ride much and my old blaster was actually too powerful for her. So heres the plan. I am going to get a blaster motor (from a 96) put the water cooling assembly from a dt200 (blasters are set up for it) and drop it into a shee frame and utilize the stock shee radiator, it shouldnt perform any different than the blasty right? And she will have the looks of a shee.

I dont allow four pokes by my shee anymore. I just think it would look cool having two shees on the trails (she wont even ride a real one) and it wouldnt be much fab work at all. a buddy of mine did the water cooled blaster mod and it wasnt much at all (new jug and internals) and a buddy can weld the motor mounts. I just want to see if it is enough motor to push the frame (they are alike after all). Besides it was just a thought. I might just give her the shee when I get my tri-z

Why don't you just find her a cheap stock banshee ( w/ stock pipes) and change the gearing to slow it down. I'd gear it taller so it accelerates slower and most chicks don't tend to run shit wide open anyway. If you ever want to make it faster just put pipes etc on it. Besides if you ever want to sell it who's gonna buy a banshee with a blaster motor.

Just dont jump into it if she dont ride,my wife can ride quads/bike whatever now she has two kids,two machines and I cant sell them because there hers even though they sit.Over the past 5yrs I could have traded them for some sick shit but no dice,keep it in mind,more than likely she rides to impress you or get a compliment,tell her shes gorgeous ,give her some and dont waste your money

Haha dude you just made my day. I aint been punched by someone that little in like 17 years.

But as for the thumb throttle governor that won't mess shit up? I thought about that. But her problem is when she panicks she holds her open. (Thats how she wrecked the blasty)
