TJScott Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 you should NEVER use starting fluid in a two stroke. Quote
camatv Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 if it idles fine but boggs but stays running the park brake override is active. you need to check that wiring issue what year is it? i think 98 or 99 is when they started putting the park break override on them.. the toors will kill the bike if the stupid lil black box is still plugged in if it is get that junk off the bike and throw it as hard as you can across the street. then do burnouts on top of it.. Onesickcrewcab Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Sounds like a TORS issue to me. Stock carbs? I know you say TORS is removed, but is it completely gone? Check your wiring to start, and if that doesn't work, pull the carbs off and clean them out. How old is the gas you are running? Quote
MarineNYC Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 pickup gap okay? I had the same problem and it was my pick up gap. Quote
shee4speed Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 airfilter is all plugged up. Quote

dragbanshee Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Yea the pickup gas was a little bit off I did check it. It just boggles my mind because it ran perfect when I parked it. Almost like someone messed with it while I was gone. :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: Thats how they roll! Quote
Keyser Soze Posted March 1, 2009 Author Report Posted March 1, 2009 My banshee is a 95 so I dont think I have to worry about the parking break overide. My tors brain is gone but the tors plugs are still intact. Gas is about 3 days old. T-shee was looking at my carbs today and said both my piolets are clogged. Not sure if thats he problem...it still should rev and just not idle... Quote
